Programs

Florence-Fisher Resource and Learning Center is committed to serving youth and families and offers innovative programs that offer education, computerized as well as referal services and support from local business and religious leaders. We also strive to uphold

  • Providing quality services to all of our clients, regardless of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, mental or physical disabilities or ability to pay for services.

Florence-Fisher Resource and Learning Center is made up of six programs that serve the varied needs of the community, including:


Elementary Grade Recovery skills instruction (reading, writing, and math). Students in the elementary phase of their education can participate in tutoring sessions, computerized learning. Emphasis on maintaining a positive attitude toward education and peers

Middle School Grade Recovery Program:
Basic Skills instruction (reading, writing and math). Students in the Middle School Phase of the education can participate in tutoring session, computerized learning. on maintaining positive attitude, and personal goals for achieving higher education.

High School Grade Recovery Program
: Basic Skills instruction (reading, writing and math). Students in the High School Phase of their education can participate in tutoring sessions, computerized learning. on maintaining positive attitude, personal goals, college scholarship opportunities and mentoring of younger participants.

Adult Assistant Programs:
instruction in basic computer skills, processing and spreadsheet usage, resume building, internet services, fax services, and Christian guidance with emphasis on Christian Living.

Outreach Programs:
Resource and Learning Center will continue to communicate with community, business, school and religious leaders to identify new innovative approaches and programs to assist our young population in achieving success.

Volunteer Programs:
Resource and Learning Center will continue to seek out and respect the knowledge of our elders. volunteer program will place emphasis on no mind left behind. volunteer program will stress the importance bridging gap between our youth and elders by the sharing life experiences and knowledge with all age groups in our community

Community Awareness:
Resource and Learning Center will continue to find innovative programs and activities that promote a fun learning environment and enrich the minds of our children.

Florence-Fisher Resource and Learning Center will be a leader in the in the nonprofit sector. Florence-Fisher Resource and Learning Center is proud of children and families in our community and will do everything in our power to help them succeed. The future is in our hands.
